Members of the Collegiums of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH met with the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) Ognjen Tadić, his Deputy Safet Softić and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Šefik Džaferović met today in Sarajevo with the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan led by Chingiz Ganizade, the Head of the Working Group for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Pointing out that relations between the two countries are at a very high level, the members of the Collegiums of both houses of the PABiH once again confirmed the that our country respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, which, as said, was confirmed in 2013 when PABiH adopted the Resolution on respect and support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It was emphasized that it is necessary to continue to develop cooperation and on the economic level, taking into account the investment projects of Azerbaijan in Doboj and Srebrenica, whose implementation is under way, as well as announcements of new investments of Azerbaijan in the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
An announcement that in the middle of this year the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina was hailed, which, as it is estimated, will provide an incentive for improvement of the political and economic relations between the two friendly countries.
The Azerbaijani delegation conveyed the invitation of the President of the Parliament of that country to the Collegiums of both houses of the PABiH to visit the Republic of Azerbaijan during this year.
